Coefficient of Friction Tester
The Coefficient of Friction (COF) Tester is designed to determine the static and kinetic coefficient of friction between film-to-film, film-to-metal, and film-to-glass surfaces. Measuring friction characteristics is essential for evaluating the handling, processing, and performance properties of plastic films.
The instrument consists of a precision-engineered platform of specified dimensions that tilts at a constant angular speed, driven by a synchronous motor. A standard sled of defined weight and size is placed on the test specimen to measure the frictional resistance accurately.
The equipment features a durable metallic painted body with bright chrome-plated components, ensuring corrosion resistance and long service life.

Crease Recovery Tester
The Crease Recovery Tester is used to determine the ability of textiles to recover from creasing by measuring the crease recovery angle. This test evaluates the wrinkle resistance of fabrics by assessing how effectively a material returns to its original position after being folded under a specified load.
In the test procedure, a rectangular specimen is folded and creased under a 1 kg load for a specified duration. After creasing, the specimen is carefully transferred to the angle measurement assembly. One end of the specimen is secured in a spring-loaded clamp, while the other end is allowed to hang freely under its own weight. The clamped end is then slowly rotated until the free end aligns vertically. The angle through which the specimen recovers is read directly from a graduated scale. This angle represents the crease recovery performance of the fabric.

De Mattia Flex Tester
The ability of rubber products to withstand repeated flexing without cracking is critical in applications where materials are subjected to continuous bending. The De Mattia Flex Tester is designed to evaluate the flexing endurance of vulcanized rubber by simulating repeated flexing under controlled laboratory conditions of speed, stroke, and degree of deformation.
This test method provides valuable information on a rubber compound’s resistance to flex cracking. During testing, cracks may initiate at points of stress concentration or propagate from pre-existing flaws. Crack growth typically occurs perpendicular to the direction of applied stress, allowing accurate assessment of material durability.

Digital Stroboscope Tachometer
The Digital Stroboscope Tachometer operates on the stroboscopic principle. When short, high-intensity flashes of light are directed at a rotating, oscillating, or vibrating object, the object appears stationary if the flash frequency matches its motion. This phenomenon enables accurate RPM measurement and detailed motion analysis without physical contact.
The instrument is widely used across industries for monitoring and troubleshooting rotating machinery such as textile spindles, electric motors, pumps, blowers, turbines, centrifuges, and automotive engines. It is also highly effective for motion-freeze studies including diesel engine nozzle spray inspection, online print inspection on rotogravure machines, vibration analysis, cavitation studies, spark plug testing, and timing adjustments in petrol engines.
