COBB Sizing Tester (Automatic Type)
The COBB Sizing Tester (Automatic Type) is designed to determine the water absorbency of paper, paperboard, and similar materials. The Cobb value represents the quantity of water absorbed in a specified time by one side of a unit area of paper or board when placed horizontally under a water head of one centimeter.

Core Crush Tester
The Core Crush Tester is designed to measure the crushing strength of paper cores, paper tubes, and bobbins. It determines the maximum pressure that can be applied to the surface of the carrier until it collapses.

Crush Tester
The IKON Crush Tester is designed for evaluating the compressive strength properties of paper and paperboard. It is suitable for conducting Ring Crush Test (RCT) for paper with thickness between 0.15 mm and 1 mm, Edge Crush Test (ECT), Flat Crush Test (FCT), and Ply Bond Adhesion Test (PAT) for boards. The instrument can also be used for Corrugating Medium Test (CMT) on tubes with diameters less than 60 mm.

Digital Stiffness Tester (Paper)
The Digital Stiffness Tester is designed to determine the stiffness and compression strength characteristics of paper and paperboard. The compressive index of a material (failure load per unit width/basis weight) increases with sheet density in a manner similar to the tensile index. Therefore, fibre characteristics that influence sheet density, flexural modulus, and fibre resilience significantly affect stiffness performance.
This instrument is fully microprocessor-controlled with user-friendly, menu-driven software that allows easy selection and setting of test parameters. Paper Smoothness Porosity & Softness Tester
This instrument is designed to measure the average smoothness, porosity, and softness of paper, paperboard, and films. The test is carried out by determining the time required for a specified volume of air to pass through or over the test specimen under uniform and controlled pressure conditions.
The tester is equipped with an electronic self-starting timer for automatic measurement of air flow through the specimen. The timer starts automatically when the zero mark of the graduated scale passes the reading fork and stops once the predetermined volume of air has passed through the sample, ensuring accurate and repeatable results.

Ply Bond Tester
The Ply Bond Tester is designed to determine the internal bonding strength of paper, paperboard, and laminates. It measures the average energy, expressed in thousandths of a foot-pound, required to delaminate a specimen into two plies, in accordance with TAPPI T-569 reference standard.
The instrument is equipped with a dual-capacity pendulum of 0.25 ft-lb and 0.1–0.5 ft-lb, with readings indicated directly on a calibrated scale for accurate and easy interpretation. It includes a five-station specimen preparation unit, allowing testing of different specimen thicknesses with adjustable clamping pressures ranging from 50 to 200 PSI.
