Flexometer
The Flexometer is designed to assess the flexing endurance of light leathers and their surface finishes. It is widely used to evaluate the ability of light leathers—such as those used in shoe uppers, gloves, and garments—to withstand repeated flexing without cracking. The ASIAN Flexometer provides accurate and reliable determination of flex resistance under controlled conditions.
The equipment is built on a rigid metallic base plate for stability and durability. The test specimen is securely held between a pair of stationary and oscillating grips. These specially designed grips allow quick fixing and removal of the specimen and are shaped in accordance with standard specifications.
A six-digit electronic counter with key reset and backup memory is provided to record the total number of flexing cycles completed by the specimen. The instrument is capable of performing a large number of flex cycles per test, making it suitable for laboratory and quality control applications.
